Maria Silvo is an indie children’s book author, who collaborates closely with her three school-age kids to create children’s stories. To date, she has self-published five books at Amazon’s Kindle Bookstore and keeps a stack of other yet unpublished stories in her notebooks and computer, collected through years of creative writing, just waiting to be illustrated, formatted and brought out to the reading public.
Although Maria writes for children, her books are also meant for adults for their inspiring and motivational themes… just like Shel Silverstein’s “The Giving Tree” and Trina Paulus “Hope for the Flowers.” She has other self-published books as well in other genres but she prefers to be popularly known as that – a children’s book author.
This blog is meant for indie authors, aspiring writers, bloggers and work-at-home moms (WAHM) who wish to take advantage of the booming self-publishing industry. It shall be a venue to share and, if possible, collaborate, with other indie authors, writers and bloggers in the self-publishing niche.
